Who Can Afford HealthcareThe cost of health insurance is going up, the bills from the ER are out of this world, and spinal specialists want to charge you $600 just to talk.  What is going on with healthcare these days?

I became a chiropractic physician nearly seven years ago with a mission to help as many people as I could.  Even with the rising cost of healthcare, I am able to do just that.  Chiropractic care is an inexpensive way to make sure the entire family is healthy and happy.

Numerous studies have proven that nearly every chiropractic patient feels overall better after a chiropractic adjustment.  Chiropractic care stimulates your nervous system in a positive manner and releases endorphins into your nervous system to help you cope with pain better while also making you feel overall better.

Many patients who see their chiropractor on a regular basis (at least once a month) tend to have less sicknesses in the year, less sick days used at work, and an overall more productive lifestyle.  Not only does the adjustment help your bones and joints, but it can help you fight off colds and other illnesses too.  If any of my wellness patients gets sick, they get adjusted and within days the illness is gone.

So how does all of this help with the rising cost of healthcare?  Here’s how: an average visit to a primary care physician is roughly $150 if you do not have insurance.  Most chiropractic offices charge between $35-50 for an adjustment.  If regular visits to a chiropractor keep your bones and joints from degenerating this could prevent future visits to a spinal specialist (roughly $600 a visit), or even surgery (which will costs thousands of dollars to perform plus the cost of rehab after the surgery).  Not to mention, you will want to go to the chiropractor after the surgery to make sure the vertebrae above and below the spot of surgery don’t degenerate like the ones that needed surgery.

Most chiropractic offices also have family plans for those families looking to get adjusted on a regular basis.  These plans are very reasonable, especially when you factor in all of the benefits that you and your family will be getting.

So although healthcare is rising, your health doesn’t have to suffer.  There are plenty of alternatives.  I would recommend getting on a regular chiropractic adjustment schedule first.  Once you have established that, and you see all of the benefits, you will want to do the same for your family and friends.  Here’s to your health and happiness.
